**Public Sector People are working closely with a council in the inner northern suburbs to recruit a Traffic Management Administrator for a 3-month temporary contract.

Location:**
Inner northern suburb, Melbourne

Duration:
ASAP start - 20th Feb 2026

Rate:
$46.21 per hour plus super

Key Responsibilities -

  • Assess, approve, and manage applications relating to works within road reserves, activities on roads that may significantly impact normal road use and filming activities on public land.
  • Review and ensure all submitted traffic management plans comply with relevant legislation.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by dealing with incoming queries
  • Where appropriate, educate the community around relevant regulation and Acts that protect the amenity and infrastructure of the community.

Key Criteria -

  • Strong administrative background
  • Traffic Management qualifications are essential, specifically TMD1
  • Ability to read, design, implement and assess traffic management plans.
  • Ability to deal with challenging customers
  • Local council experience is highly regarded
