Retail Receptionist – Dog Grooming Salon (Maylands SA)

Part-Time | $26.55–$29.70/hr | Tues–Fri, 10am–3pm

Are you a people-person who loves dogs? We're looking for a friendly, reasonably tech-savvy Receptionist/Sales assistant to join our dog grooming salon in Maylands, SA

This part-time role is perfect for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for animals. You'll be the face of our salon—greeting clients (both human and furry), handling bookings, and keeping things running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Greet clients and their dogs with a warm, welcoming attitude

Answer phone calls and manage appointment bookings

Check dogs in and out for grooming appointments

Handle product sales and point-of-sale transactions

Respond to occasional emails and process invoices

Collect and relay customer feedback to the team

What We're Looking For:

No formal qualifications are needed, but you must:

Be comfortable using technology and learning new booking systems

Have excellent communication and people skills

Be organised and confident with multitasking

Enjoy working in a busy environment with dogs around

Have a genuine love for animals

The Details

Location: In-salon, Maylands SA

Hours: 10am–3pm, Tuesday to Friday

Rate: $26.55–$29.70 per hour (based on experience)
