Job description

The Role

  • You will be responsible for keeping food costs and ordering within the budgets and parameters set out by the Head Chef
  • You will help develop and maintain recipes
  • You will be involved in the curation of the venue's food offerings
  • You will work in a high-volume environment but not compromise on other factors that builds the experience for the customer such as speed and quality of the product.
  • You Will be supported by the Executive Chef, Head Chef and FOH management.

What are we looking for

  • The ability to operate a high-volume kitchen and maintain the smooth and calm running of the pass in the absence and presence of the Head Chef.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and teach staff of all experience levels.
  • Exceptional Planning and organisation skills
  • Have a full understanding of workplace health and safety practices, implement them and maintain them
  • Maintain high standards and lead by example
  • Build relationships with the management to work together and gives the best experience possible to the customer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
