Job Description
As a Senior Strategy Associate, you'll be part of the team shaping the future of our business. Working closely with senior leaders and experienced strategy professionals, you'll help identify growth opportunities, address key challenges, and support initiatives that strengthen our long-term direction. Your insights and impact will directly support our commitment to protecting what matters most to our customers.

In This Role You Will

  • Contribute to the development of TAL's corporate strategy, ensuring it aligns with long-term goals and evolving market conditions.
  • Help drive the annual strategic planning cycle, including preparing for key Executive and Board strategy sessions.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to uncover opportunities and inform strategic direction.
  • Build models and extract insights from complex data sets to support key strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, business teams, and external partners to align on strategy and drive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field, an MBA will be beneficial.
  • 2-3 years' experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data and present clear insights to senior leaders.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel to turn data into meaningful actions.
  • Experience in life insurance, superannuation, or financial services is highly regarded.
