- Temporary full time for up to 12 months based in Sydney, NSW
About the role
We're looking for a dynamic Senior Associate, Policy and Strategy to help deliver on the NSW 24-Hour Economy Strategy, a bold initiative to create a vibrant, safe, and diverse night-time and visitor economy across NSW.
In this role, you will:
- Support the design and implementation of policy and strategic projects that drive economic and cultural outcomes.
- Manage projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide evidence-based insights, research, and advice to inform decision-making at senior executive and Ministerial levels.
- Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from government agencies to industry groups and community partners.
- Oversee procurement and contract management processes, ensuring value for money and compliance.

About you
You're a strategic thinker and problem solver who thrives in complex, fast paced environments. You're motivated by the opportunity to shape policies and projects that have a tangible impact on communities and industries across NSW.
The ideal candidate, should have the following:
- High level project management experience, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to collaborate, negotiate, and manage relationships across diverse groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high quality briefs, reports, and advice for senior stakeholders.
- The confidence to work through challenges, adapt quickly to change, and remain calm under pressure.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
