We're partnering with a nationally recognised architectural and interior design practice with a global reach and deep local expertise. The Sydney studio specialises in multi-unit residential, seniors living, aged care, commercial, and hospitality projects, delivering end-to-end solutions from masterplanning and architecture through to interiors.

The Sydney studio is boutique and growing, supported by offshore teams who manage documentation and delivery. This allows the local team to focus on concept design, DA applications, and client engagement while fostering a strong work-life balance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Associate Architect (10+ years' experience) for a leadership-focused, client-facing role. You will take ownership of projects, guide teams, and drive design excellence across multi-residential, seniors living, hospitality, and commercial developments. This is a key position for an experienced architect looking to progress into studio leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Develop and implement design solutions across residential, seniors living, hospitality, and commercial projects.
  • Mentor and manage junior and mid-level architects.
  • Engage directly with clients, consultants, and offshore documentation teams.
  • Ensure projects meet design, budget, and program objectives.
  • Contribute to the growth, culture, and commercial awareness of the Sydney studio.

About You

  • 10+ years post-graduate architectural experience.
  • Highly proficient in REVIT and design documentation.
  • Strong design leadership, commercial awareness, and client engagement skills.
  • Confident in presenting design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Passionate about leading a collaborative, agile, and design-driven studio environment.
