Perth, Western Australia Programmed Offshore Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Programmed Offshore are a leading provider of marine, catering, maintenance and logistics support to the offshore oil and gas sector. Working across Australia, New Zealand and internationally, we specialise in providing offshore personnel and logistics solutions.

Due to an internal transfer within the Company, Programmed Offshore are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing team based in West Perth on a permanent basis.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the Offshore Division's customer ledgers, including preparation of client manning and recharges invoices.
  • Ensuring ageing reports are up to date
  • Manage credit collection by generating and issuing monthly customer statements and actively chasing aged receivables.
  • Responding to client's queries promptly and engaging with internal stakeholders to resolve overdue, disputed transactions
  • Month-end tasks
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (desired)
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 3+ years of accounts receivable experience required
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Depth of experience in detailed computerised accounting systems is essential (Navision experience desired)
  • Sound administration and accounts knowledge
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications and is system savvy
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines
  • Valid Australian work rights required for this position
