About the role

We are looking for an experienced Truck & LV Diesel Mechanic to join our team at CST Hire in Larapinta, QLD. As a Truck & LV Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our rental fleet of commercial trucks and light vehicles. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, modules, and other components on our range of rental commercial trucks and light vehicles.
  2. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on our fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety
  3. Conduct checks on our range of modules on our trucks, such as water trucks, fuel trucks, service trucks etc.
  4. Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Truck & LV Diesel Mechanic in a commercial or industrial setting
  3. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
