About the Role

Team Global Express is seeking Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our modern workshop located in Larapinta, QLD.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate and outstanding employee benefits.

  • Permanent full-time employment
  • Competitive hourly rate: $48.02 per hour plus 12% Superannuation
  • Monday to Friday roster – 38 hours per week
  • Flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
  • Modern workshop with top-of-the-line diagnostic equipment
  • Fully supplied PPE (including boots and $300 towards protective prescription glasses)
  • Supplied and Laundered Uniforms
  • Supportive and collaborative management team
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities, both in-house and through suppliers

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, diesel, auto electrical, air conditioning, and hydraulic systems in accordance with job card requirements
  • Complete general servicing tasks efficiently and to a high standard
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team culture

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III minimum)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with HSE policies and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency in your work
