Light - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a Trade Qualified Diesel Technician to join our ever-growing team at Acacia Ridge. With great facilities and a modern workshop, this role is open for both local and interstate interest. The role reports to the Workshop Manager and will be required to perform mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing of light to medium vehicles with a wide variety of different work.

The Candidate

  • Trade qualified in the repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles OR 4th Year apprentice
  • Have basic diagnostic skills
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • The ability to work within a team or unsupervised
  • Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety
  • Commitment to quality control, continuous improvement and working to schedules
  • Maintain tools and equipment and ensure accurate records of all repairs and maintenance are documented
  • Ability to become part of an amazing team of technicians

The nature of this role demands a self-motivated, decisive person with a "can do" attitude.
