We are an after hours art school that aims to help young people grow their passion for art by promoting creative and innovative thinking.

Currently, we are looking to find an art instructor that shares the same passion we have for nurturing artistic potential of our students.

Ideal candidate should have a working WWCC (required), genuine passion for teaching kids (teaching/leading experience desirable), and strong interest in arts.

Candidate should have legal rights to work in Australia.

Candidate should be available to teach on Saturdays (required) and should be willing to undergo training.

Key duties and responsibilities are:

  1. Ensuring that classroom and self are ready 10 minutes before class

  2. Brainstorming and developing creative/innovative ideas with the students

  3. Assigning tasks/exercises/projects that help develop students' skills

  4. Ensuring that students are improving as best as they could and completing their works

  5. Making sure that students are encouraged to become better all the time

  6. Giving fair feedback on student's message book and progress

  7. Giving updates on students' progress to parents

  8. Contacting parents if student is absent without notice

  9. Choosing quality student's artwork for display

  10. Cleaning/Tidying-up class room, tools, art materials

  11. Communicating with Employer about updates and students' progress

  12. Taking photos of students activities

  13. Making samples of artworks as required

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 11 per week
