Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for making our hotel pub look like the place to be — even to people who live 500km away.

You'll be promoting calendar events like Melbourne Cup and Anzac Day, music events, block parties, accommodation, day-to-day venue trade and all around making sure there's not a spare seat in the house

You'll be conjuring up campaigns that fill our bar stools, packs out live music nights, and somehow makes a burger look so good you can smell it through the screen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The creation (in tandem with graphic designers we work with) of event artworks, posters for in-venue promotions etc. As well as the online and in-venue rollout of these assets (ie. setting up FB events, updating FB cover photos, briefing our social media team and briefing them on all upcoming events and campaigns
  • Assist in the updating of assets like menus (if you're not familiar with the Adobe Suite, don't worry – we can teach you)
  • Keep the event calendar looking like the social highlight of the year, every week. That means suggesting ways to get people excited about the pub You want stilt walkers? Let's book it
  • Approve content schedules from our social media team
  • Capture in-house content (stories and videos - we love a good Tiktok)
  • Liaise with the social media team to plan photoshoots in accordance with upcoming events and menu updates
  • Create and send EDM's
  • Keep our website looking up-to-date (ie. updating info, imagery and business hours)

Required Skills:

  • Knows what all the cool kids like, keep us hip, and with the trends insert finger guns here
  • 1-2 years marketing experience
  • Fluent in Facebook algorithms, Instagram trends, and a sprinkle of sass.
  • Works remotely yet somehow knows exactly what's happening in the pub at all times.
