About the opportunity

Commencing in October 2025, this opportunity calls for an Executive Assistant who thrives on managing competing priorities, navigating complex schedules, and providing seamless executive support. From coordinating high-level meetings to preparing concise reports and correspondence, you will be relied upon as a trusted partner who ensures the Chief Forensic Pathologist can focus on leading with clarity and confidence.
As the first point of contact for key stakeholders, you will bring discretion, initiative, and exceptional communication skills to a role that demands accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail. Working within a collaborative Executive Assistant team, you will contribute to efficient service delivery, while developing systems and processes that enhance the way we work. What you'll be doing
The Administrative Officer provides high-level administrative and clerical support for the Chief Forensic Pathologist/Clinical Director Forensic Medicine and ensures that all administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

- Demonstrated experience in providing executive administrative support, including the capacity to operate effectively with minimal supervision, exercise independent judgement, discretion and initiative and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage work priorities and work flow within allocated resources to support efficient and effective service delivery and commitment to providing quality services and applying quality improvement initiatives to workplace practices and procedures
- High level written and verbal communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and ability to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities.
- Highly developed skills in using PC based software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook), SharePoint and network operations and electronic systems to complete work activities.
