Service Department Foreman/Workshop Controller - Moree

Tait Auto Group is a family owned and operated Toyota Dealership in Goondiwindi & Moree seeking an organised, enthusiastic, and motivated Service Technician or Service Foreman to join our team as our Workshop Foreman at our Moree Branch.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is responsible for co-ordinating the day-to-day operations of our workshop jobs.  This person needs to possess mechanical knowledge and exceptional organisational skills to ensure customer satisfaction to meet our performance and culture expectations.

About the Role but not limited to

  • Providing support to the Service Manager
  • Co-ordinating the daily workflow
  • Ensure vehicles and paperwork flow through the workshop in a timely manner.
  • Maximising productivity and efficiency of the Service Dept.
  • Monitor the quality and performance of all work performed.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all Departments.

Successful person will need the following experience

  • Mechanical Experience
  • Must hold a mechanical trade qualification
  • Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
  • Ability to multitask and oversee multiple jobs
  • The ability to delegate work
  • Strong customer first focus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Manage a Team of Technicians
  • Liaise with Franchises and Identify Warranty concerns
