The Customer Service Officer plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our stakeholders. The position will be responsible for ensuring that all customer enquiries and issues are handled efficiently and professionally, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our stakeholders.

The key roles and tasks are, but not limited to:

  • Act as the concierge for both internal and external stakeholders, delivering the highest level of customer service.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for healthcare professionals regarding employment opportunities.

  • Assist customers in navigating information and intelligence, providing guidance and directing them to appropriate next steps.

  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients to support engagement and satisfaction.

  • Document all customer interactions and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM for accurate tracking and analysis.

  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve complex queries and escalate issues as required.

  • Support Medical Workforce Consultants in sourcing, screening, and managing the initial stages of the recruitment process.

  • Assist stakeholders with obtaining job descriptions and posting roles on suitable job boards.

  • Facilitate the initial stages of the Pre-Fellowship Program application process

About you:

Ideally, you will bring to the position:

  • Experience in a similar position providing high level of concierge, customer service and handling customer inquiries.

  • Previous experience in a health care setting

  • Demonstrated ability to:

    - Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    - Work independently, set objectives and meet these within appropriate timeframes.

    - Adapt to change in an evolving organisation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or CRM software.

  • Commitment to Aboriginal health and understanding and appreciation of cultural awareness and safety.

  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
