About the role

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager / Supervisor to join our team at Hogan's Wellington Point Hotel in Wellington Point, Queensland. As Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dynamic and thriving hotel. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a team of hospitality professionals and ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the smooth running of all hotel operations
  • Coordinating and supervising staff to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Handling customer queries and complaints effectively and professionally
  • Monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security standards
  • Assisting with staff rostering, training and development
  • Conducting regular inspections and reporting on performance metrics
  • Supporting the General Manager with administrative and financial tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar Duty Manager or Supervisor role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make timely decisions
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and technology
  • A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
