About the role
Farmer's Bakehouse in Dubbo, NSW is seeking a Barista & Customer Service Associate to join our team on a casual basis. This role is essential in providing a great customer experience and ensuring the smooth running of our busy café. As a Barista & Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages and providing friendly, attentive service to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and serving a range of coffee and specialty drinks to customers
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised work area
- Assisting with general café duties as required
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately by following manager instructions at all times.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience for at least 2 years as a barista or in a customer service role, preferably in a café or hospitality environment is must
- Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of various coffee styles
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts including weekends
