Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Designer with a strong background in CAD 3D drawings. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to create precise and detailed 3D models and the capability to export these designs to DXL files for CNC cut sheets. This role demands a combination of technical proficiency, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive 3D CAD drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Prepare and export nested files in DXL format for CNC cutting.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Revise and update designs based on feedback and project requirements.
  • Maintain organised records of all design files and related documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with SolidWorks and CAD software.
  • Proficiency in creating and manipulating 3D models.
  • Experience with exporting files for CNC cutting, specifically in DXL format.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Employment Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Contract
  • Salary: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
