Voyager Estate is a second-generation, family-owned winery in southern Margaret River, defined by our certified organic vineyards, a deep connection to place, and exceptional wines. Since 1978, our focus has remained constant: Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon of site-specific character and enduring distinction.

The Cellar Door Team Leader plays a central role in this setting – leading the team, curating meaningful guest journeys, and embodying the spirit of the estate. Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Coordinating the Wine room team each day in accordance with guest bookings
  • Assisting the Cellar Door Manager in training and supervision of the team
  • Continually looking for ways to further elevate our guest experience
  • Overseeing experience booking calendar and responding to enquiries
  • Contacting customers directly to coordinate their visit
  • Conducting wine tastings in a variety of formats, at Cellar Door and in the field
  • Conducting tours and unique experiences such as wine blending
  • Processing experience bookings, wine sales and wine club signups

Skills and Attribute

  • A genuine passion for wine and sharing its story
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Natural leadership qualities
  • Previous experience in Cellar Door sales, fine-dining restaurants, or other tourism/hospitality roles (such as tour guiding)
  • Previous experience in wine or product sales
  • Qualified sommelier and WSET level training (highly regarded)
  • A valid driver's license,
  • Availability to work weekends
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour

The right candidate will be offered part/full-time permanent contract, 4 – 5 days per week (up to 38 hours).
