Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cellar Door Manager to oversee the daily operations of our winery's tasting room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record of managing a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the tasting room, including staff, inventory, and customer experience
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Train and supervise tasting room staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Coordinate with stakeholders adequate inventory levels and timely product releases
  • Plan and execute special events, including wine tastings, tours, and private events
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to alcohol sales and service

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role in the wine industry
  • Strong knowledge of wine production, varietals, and regions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
