The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a fast paced and professional payroll team of 5, in Rose Park. As a team you'll take responsibility for processing and delivering the end-to-end payroll for circa 3500 employees on weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycle across awards, multiple enterprise agreements and individually contracted employees, ensuring our employees are paid in line with their respective terms and conditions and legislative requirements.

About The Role

  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of payroll services with strong customer service focus.
  • Ensure payrolls are accurate, timely and compliant with relevant awards, agreements and legislations.
  • Ensure the accurate calculation, payment and reconciliation of employee entitlements, PAYG, Tax, superannuation contributions and termination payments.
  • Provide End of Month and End of Financial Year reporting to Payroll Manager, Finance as required.
  • Prepares payroll reports for HR, Finance, Management and Business areas; prepares ad hoc reports as required.
  • Provides support and guidance to site leaders on payroll related topics.
  • Contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of payroll systems, policies, procedures and practices.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in a similar Payroll role
  • Working knowledge of UKG, Payroll Metrics, Chris21 or iChris software applications
  • A strong financial or commercial acumen
