About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in our Adelaide, SA office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our growing organisation.

What the role involves

  • Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll for frontline employees.
  • Maintaining employee leave records and entitlements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Interpreting relevant Awards.
  • Providing payroll-related support and guidance to employees.
  • Preparing and submitting statutory payments and reports.
  • Reconciling payroll accounts and identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll officer or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in the full payroll cycle, including Award interpretation, tax, superannuation and leave entitlements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
  • Proficient in using payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
