About you

We have an exciting opportunity available for mental health clinicians with extensive experience as a Senior Clinician in mental health community and inpatient areas with demonstrated ability to work with diverse and complex clinical presentations. Recent management experience is desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your mental health leadership and management skills and experience and also explore a new pathway in your mental health career.

The MHPC's assist in managing patient access and bed flow, support incident management, manage staffing issues and support clinical areas including the emergency departments, inpatient units, and bed-based sub-acute facilities over 24 hours, 7 days a week.

  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgement across ethical, clinical, and management issues
  • Current nursing or midwifery registration with AHPRA in the State of Victoria
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Mental Health
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) or similar healthcare software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes?
