Medical Receptionist – Part-Time & Casual

Blacktown, NSW

We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join a busy, well-established Medical & Dental Centre in Blacktown. This role suits someone confident working independently, managing a fast-paced front desk and supporting multiple clinicians.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for patients and help coordinate the daily operations of our medical, dental and allied services.

Your day will include:

  • Greeting patients and handling front-desk enquiries
  • Managing appointments for GPs, dentists & allied health
  • Patient registration, MyMedicare sign-ups and check-ins
  • Processing Medicare, DVA, WorkCover & private billing
  • EFTPOS, HICAPS and Tyro payments
  • Scanning, filing & accurate record keeping
  • General admin support for clinicians

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years experience as a Medical Receptionist (GP clinic preferred)
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to stay calm and organised in a busy environment
  • Experience with Medicare billing & claims
  • Best Practice experience (highly regarded)
  • Friendly, professional and reliable
  • Dental reception experience is a bonus but not required.
