Business and Hospitality professionals

Cambridge College Australia is a well-established RTO located in the heart of Brisbane which provides high quality training to students in Business, Cookery, Hospitality, IT, Automotive and English language courses.

The roles:

We require several qualified Trainers and assessors to deliver quality education in the VET sector.

The successful candidate will have the qualifications and experience required to deliver one of the following qualifications:

Business

  • Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Leadership & Management
  • Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

Hospitality

  • Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management

Duties

  • Prepare, deliver & assess units of competency within the courses offered by the RTO
  • Participate in assessment validation and moderation
  • Assess students' assignments and assessments
  • Maintain students' attendance
  • Generate student reports
  • Mange resources effectively and efficiently
  • Comply with the National Code legislation and relevant regulations
  • Provide general academic support as directed by the Director of Studies
  • Undertake and participate in other activities/projects/duties as directed
  • Maintain professional development
  • Submit completed VET qualification mapping document (trainer's matrix)

Selection Criteria

  • Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
  • Relevant qualifications to deliver courses offered by Cambridge
  • Relevant experience as a business or hospitality professional
  • Experience training and assessing in the VET sector
  • High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong level of spoken and written English
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check
  • Currently residing within normal commuting distance of Brisbane CBD

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
