About the Role
An excellent opportunity is currently available for an Acting Site Chief based at our Pakenham clinic, which is an exciting and challenging step in your career. This opportunity is available until July 2026.
This busy and varied role will see you responsible for:
- Providing leadership to the staff group of the practice and ensure all resources and systems are in place to enable the provision of premium quality imaging services and patient care
- Contributing to the promotion of the practice
- Proactively liaising with all relevant providers regarding facility and service matters
- Maintaining licensing and accreditation relevant to the practice and contributing to the clinical workload of the practice
- Managing and leading clinical and administrative teams, whilst developing them by working collaboratively to deal with operational issues as they arise
- Delivering a commercially sustainable clinic model around appropriate financial control and the development of revenue growth opportunities from referrers
- Participating in training programs as directed by the company and maintain and on-the-job training climate for continuous improvement within the practice
- Developing and maintaining quality management programs to improve radiology services and maintain imaging protocols and equipment at the site
You Will Have
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Tertiary qualifications in Radiography
- Knowledge of and adherence to regulation and statutory guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and lead a clinical team in a high-performing setting
- Decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service ethic
- A collaborative team-based approach
- A professional and proactive relationship with attending Radiologists, referrers and support staff
- A high level of patient confidentiality and professional conduct
- Values driven attitude
- Experience in budget planning and implementation is desirable
