About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Generalist for full-time employment to join our team at Neilson IT Solutions PTY LTD, a dedicated MSSP in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will work within a small and experienced team to provide essential IT support and troubleshooting across Clients spanning a vide variety of Industries.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Assisting clients remotely (Remote connection, phone or email) or Onsite
  • Maintaining and updating IT systems, including servers, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Implementing security measures to protect Client's IT infrastructure
  • Assisting with the deployment and configuration of new and emerging technologies
  • Documenting IT processes and procedures
  • Collaborating with other IT team members to ensure a high-level of Customer Support

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (Min 5 Years)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Admin Center and Local Active Directory
  • Good working knowledge of networking, hardware, and software maintenance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Permanent Australian resident or Citizen (no sponsorship or short-term employment available)

Location

At the start, the location will be a small in-home dedicated Office space within a residential Property in 6108, Thornlie. Towards the end of 2025 Neilson IT Solutions will relocate to a commercial Office space in 6103, Belmont/Rivervale area.
