Generalist HR Support Role

The role of the Generalist HR Support Professional is to provide hands-on, day-to-day HR support across all facets of human resources management.

This involves partnering with leaders and managers to deliver effective and practical HR solutions that meet the needs of the business and its employees.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement HR initiatives that drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and processes that align with organizational objectives and promote a positive work culture.

  • Lead or support change management projects to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption to operations.

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Manage performance reviews and salary adjustments in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Support employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR metrics and reporting systems to inform strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of providing high-quality HR support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.

  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and core HR practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
