About the Role

In this hybrid role as a
Business Development & Client Manager - Logistics & Key Accounts
, you'll manage a portfolio of major customers. Your focus will be on maintaining strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring service excellence across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Winning new business with key logistics clients to meet growth targets
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key logistics clients to meet revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with annual sales budgets
  • Develop tailored sales plans and value-based proposals for each prospect
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, drivers, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery
  • Monitor onboarding and first 90 days of trade to ensure satisfaction and integrity
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support commercial strategy
  • Maintain a strong on-going pipeline
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders
  • Maximise client's share of wallet

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain account management
  • Demonstrable history of new business development
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial acumen and solution-based selling experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to building relationships across multiple layers within an organisation
  • Self-driven, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Effective presentation skills & interpersonal communication
  • Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
