ABOUT HEARTKIDS

HeartKids is the only national not-for-profit organisation solely dedicated to supporting those impacted by childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD), one of the leading causes of infant death in Australia. Every day, eight babies are born with a heart condition, and four lives are lost to CoHD each week.

Through our support, advocacy, and education programs, we stand beside children, young people, and adults living with CoHD, as well as their families and carers, every step of the way. Our mission is to ensure no one faces their heart journey alone.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Philanthropy Manager, the Victorian Fundraising Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving fundraising success and building strong supporter relationships. This role combines campaign coordination with elements of business development, requiring strong business acumen, creativity, and high emotional intelligence to engage donors and partners with authenticity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and delivering fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals that inspire generosity.
  • Supporting donor stewardship and retention activities, ensuring every supporter feels valued and connected.
  • Contributing to business development opportunities that expand our fundraising potential and partnerships.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver multi-channel campaigns.
  • Analysing results and applying insights to continuously improve performance and impact.

This is a full-time role, formally based in Parkville, with flexible working from home arrangements for 2 days a week.
