We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented afternoon shift Industrial Cleaner to join our team in a high-volume food production facility located in Yatala - commencing early September. This essential role is responsible for maintaining the highest hygiene standards throughout the site, ensuring full compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and OH&S protocols.

You will need to be able to work autonomously, be motivated, reliable and have experience cleaning food production areas.

You will work with a small team to ensure the daily clean is completed in compliance with HACCP standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cleaning of production areas, equipment, machinery, and surfaces
  • Use industrial-grade cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with procedures
  • Complete cleaning records
  • Identify and report any hazards, unsafe practices, or maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and storage areas
  • Work collaboratively with production and QA teams to uphold hygiene standards

To be successful you will:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, preferably within food production or manufacturing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and chemical handling procedures (HACCP knowledge desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual tasks (lifting, bending, standing)
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

  • Hold a full driver's license and have a reliable car
  • Have a current forklift licence
