Hays Specialist Recruitment is on the lookout for experienced Cleaners with a Medium Rigid (MR) Licence to join the dynamic team within the City of Gold Coast Council's Infrastructure Maintenance branch. Your new role

As a Public Facilities Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our public spaces remain spotless and inviting for everyone. This temporary position offers a dynamic rotating roster with both AM and PM shifts, perfect for those who thrive on variety and enjoy a flexible schedule. You will have the opportunity to work in different locations, meet new people, and make a tangible difference in the community every day. Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, this role provides the perfect balance of routine and excitement. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Public area cleaning, including litter collection, public toilet cleaning and BBQ cleaning
  • Street sweeping
  • Sweeping the city-wide bikeway network
  • Cleaning recovery operations following storms

To excel in this role, you must be available on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and meet the following requirements:

  • Construction White Card (mandatory)
  • Medium Rigid Driver's Licence (mandatory)
  • A strong commitment to adhering to safety standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • An up-to-date CV detailing your industry experience, along with two recent references to support your application
