We are Mono Constructions, a construction company based in Rydalmere, specialising in medium density mixed use projects and apartments.

With our values at the centre of our culture, we are now seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team and lead a few projects through the Design phases. Reporting to our Pre-Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding our project designs, from concept to completion.

The Role

Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Understanding client objectives, expectations, and performance outcomes.
  • Determining design requirements- brief, timeline, and deliverables
    .
  • Source, engage, and monitor design consultants.
  • Development Applications and Construction Certificates.
  • Review design deliverables, provide best practice solutions/efficiencies, and ensure designs comply with NCC/BCA standards, DBPA and agreed design requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the design team members, ensuring behaviours are aligned with Mono's FRANK values.
  • Support project delivery teams as necessary to achieve final Occupation Certification and handover.

About you

  • Qualification related to Design, Project or Construction Management.
  • Experience in delivering large mixed use residential, Class 2 buildings with a project value exceeding $30M, is a must.
  • Solid Building Design Project Manager experience across the entire project development cycle.
