To do:
SAP module expansion (implementation) in a growing manufacturing and assembly business.

The person:
SAP consultant with experience in manufacturing and assembly operations acting as the bridge between the technical system and day-to-day manufacturing ensuring the system is configured, cleansed, and properly structured.

Objective:
Leverage SAP data for capacity planning, forecasting, and supply chain optimisation.

Key Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong background in SAP Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) modules.
  • Knowledge of integration between Finance and Operations modules. (Finance Module is already implemented)

Knowledge requirements

  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly workflows, particularly in electronics or industrial equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with Materials Master, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Inventory Management, and Lead Time Management.
  • Knowledge of raw materials planning, inventory optimisation, and Just-In-Time (JIT) principles.
  • Ability to design systems that respond flexibly to demand surges and drops.

Work that will be done include:

  • Data review (and cleansing if required), ensuring master data is accurate and usable.
  • Map, streamline, and digitise processes that are currently reliant on spreadsheets.
  • Setting up forward-looking planning processes to fix current reactive practices.
