We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis, with an immediate start. Duties:
- Preparation of annual financial reports including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
- Responsible for financial reporting and analysis on portfolios forecast and actual financial performance.
- Prepare and lodge BAS and payments as well as reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.
- Monitor bookkeeping, assets management and budget project costing.
- Prepare month end report, manage accounts receivable/ payable.
- Review the financial statements.
- Develop, implement, and keep updated all financial policies and procedures including internal control procedures.
- Project costing and capital asset evaluation.
- Formulate organisational budgetary and accounting policies.
- Ensure the statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
- Analyse and report company income and expenditure.
- Providing assurance about the accuracy of the information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirement.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in the industry is mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to details.
- Able to perform under pressure.
- Good team player
