The role of Financial Accountant is to join a close-knit organisation that fosters a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of general ledgers across different entities
  • Booking of various journal entries, including accruals and prepayments
  • Preparation of balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations
  • Manage the settlement of various expenses, tax obligations and intercompany balances
  • Processing monthly payroll and superannuation payments
  • Preparation of monthly management reports
  • Weekly / monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Fixed asset register maintenance
  • Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements including Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Cashflow as well as general ledger management
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2 - 4 years minimum accounting experience
  • Working towards CA or CPA qualification
  • Experience working within insurance industry will be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in processing
  • Proven technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Motivated and self driven
  • Client centric attitude
  • Professional and mature approach in all interactions
  • Team player
