We are currently working with a bespoke investment management firm that is specialised in Real Estate. They currently have presence in Singapore, Japan, China, and Australia, and currently working to grow their team in Australia, and this position to be based in Sydney.

If you are successful in this role, you will be part of an exciting business with a strong, open culture, with selected small group of professionals and the desire to grow aggressively in Australia and in the region. Of course, you will also enjoy significant career opportunities within the business as you continue to progress in the organisation. This opportunity is suited to someone who has startup / entrepreneurial mindset and wants to take on hands on approach to end to end investment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with other team members to develop investment strategies

  • Evaluating and underwriting properties for potential investment including building financial models and completing due diligence

  • Reviewing asset management reports on the performance of the firm's investments

  • Evaluating recommendations provided by third-party asset managers or consultants regarding existing investments

  • Conducting research activities regarding supply and demand trends, current market rents, and recent sale transactions

  • Conducting site inspections

  • Preparing Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation materials.

Key Requirements:

At least three years' prior work experience in investment management or similar role.

  • Specific experience in the real estate, accounting, asset management, banking or financial services industries is beneficial.

  • The ideal candidate will (i) have strong quantitative skills, and (ii) have a thorough command of Excel and PowerPoint.
