We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant with strong high-volume accounts payable experience to join our dynamic team in Port Adelaide

About you:

We are looking for a team member with:

  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Previous office experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Accounts receivable/payable experience
  • A willingness to learn
  • Previous use of Sybiz Vision a bonus but not essential

The ideal individual will be reliable with a positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and a keen eye for detail. Strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy office environment is essential.

About the role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable - Carry out the full process of handling invoices – from printing and coding to entering data, checking for accuracy, making payments, and reconciling records.
  • Data entry - Support the preparation of weekly customer reports by checking, coding, and entering data into our internal accounts system.
  • Bank reconciliations - Perform regular bank reconciliations, including printing statements, coding transactions, entering data, and ensuring everything balances.
  • Office shopping & petty cash management - Oversee office procurement and petty cash activities, including sourcing and purchasing supplies, maintaining detailed records, and performing month-end reconciliation.
  • Other ad hoc office tasks

Location - Port Adelaide SA 5015

Full-time - Mon-Fri – 8.30am to 5.00pm

Start - Immediate Start

Salary - $65,000-$85,000 dependent on experience

3 month probation period, which at the conclusion will transition to permanent.
