We are seeking an experienced Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Manager to champion best-practice standards across our Aluminium, Plastics and Steel Divisions.
About the Role
As the QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems. You will drive compliance, lead audits and inspections, oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and promote a proactive safety and quality culture across our operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines system management with practical engagement on the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and improve the ECLIPS OH&S Management System to meet all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and investigations.
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) ensuring products meet internal and client standards.
- Coordinate and oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and customer inspections.
- Ensure compliance with environmental controls under ISO 14001, including air quality, waste handling, and chemical management.
- Support external audits, supplier inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report QHSE performance and KPIs to the leadership team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning across all levels of the business.
About You
You're an experienced QHSE professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys leading from the front. You combine technical capability with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
You will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or Environmental Science — or 10+ years of QHSE experience in manufacturing/fabrication.
- Proven expertise in FAT coordination and client inspection processes.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on FAT coordination experience is essential for this role.
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Australian WHS legislation.
- Familiarity with steel, aluminium, and plastics fabrication processes (desirable).
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and IT skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence and mentor others.
- The right to work in Australia is required for this position.
Why Join ECLIPS Manufacturing?
- Be part of a growing, innovative Australian manufacturing company.
- Play a key leadership role in shaping safety, quality, and environmental excellence.
- Work with a collaborative and values-driven team that takes pride in delivering world-class engineered solutions.
- Competitive remuneration based on experience.
