About the role

As a Painter/Production Worker at ECLIPS Manufacturing Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for painting and finishing a variety of products in our Campbellfield, VIC manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position that involves hands-on production work in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY ROLE - Industrial Painting

  • Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers as required
  • Mixing and applying paints, lacquers, and other finishes to products
  • Ensuring a high standard of finish is achieved on all painted items
  • Operate, monitor and maintain painting and ventilation equipment and infrastructure
  • Adhering to all quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area

SECONDARY ROLE - Production Worker Support

  • Assist in general assembly and production tasks during non-painting windows
  • Operate hand tools and participate in light fabrication duties as directed
  • Support material movement and work-in-progress staging
  • Maintain clean workstations and contribute to daily factory housekeeping
  • Other general factory management tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or equivalent (Essential).
  • Industry experience will be accepted as equivalent to the Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in an industrial painting or coating environment (Essential)
  • Working knowledge (experience) of aluminum and steel substrate painting techniques and surface preparation.
  • Working knowledge (experience) of safety, ventilation storage and waste protocols for painting chemicals
  • Forklift licenses (advantageous).
  • Experience with general workshop tools and assembly (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Ability to read and follow Production Documentation and verbal instructions
  • Physically fit for manual handling, painting posture, and PPE wear.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
