Veterinary Specialist Services is a well-established Small Animal referral hospital group located in Southeast Queensland. We are striving to create an environment where people can do their best work. Our dedicated team of highly skilled veterinarians and nurses is committed to providing world-class animal care. We have a very diverse skill set and can offer just about all specialties, diagnostic modalities, and therapies across our practice group.
The Role:
Based at our Underwood Hospital, the Client Care Team Leader plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our busy reception team. Reporting directly to the Hospital Operations Manager, you will ensure the delivery of professional, welcoming, and efficient client service, while also managing appointment scheduling and front-line operations.
We are looking for someone who is not only a strong leader but also willing to roll up their sleeves and step in when needed. A successful candidate will invest the time to understand the entire client care process, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the team runs smoothly while meeting business needs.
We are seeking an exceptional individual who embodies the following qualities:
Leadership: Experience leading a team of 10+ in a client-facing or reception environment
Client Service Excellence: Strong communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.
Time Management: An individual who excels at managing competing priorities, consistently meets deadlines, and approaches challenges with a solution-focused mindset.
Hands-On Approach: Willing to jump in, support the team, and lead by example.
Industry Experience: Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not essential.
