Our Opportunity
Reporting to the State Manager – VIC/TAS, the Sales Manager - Commercial is responsible for providing guidance and support to the commercial sales team through strategic planning and direction. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring daily operations of the commercial sales team, including their performance to meet budget requirements and initiating corrective actions where necessary.
Actively participating in major dealings with Contractors and Consulting engineers, assisting Commercial Account Managers.
Providing constant reporting on all planned sales programs and objectives throughout the year.
Conducting monthly analysis on territory budgets, strategic objectives, activity, competition, and projects.
Providing ongoing support to coach and mentor the Commercial Account Managers & Technical Sales Support team to ensure continual success for the employee and business.

About You

A minimum of 5 years of experience within the HVAC industry overseeing the commercial sales environment.
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous.
Demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills in a similar position.
The ability to build rapport and relationships with your team and clients.
An understanding of how to handle management-level discussions both internally and externally.
A sales result-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
A strong desire to work with a global leader and a high level of belief in Daikin's values and philosophies.
