The Role:
This interim position requires a proven senior leader to manage high-value national accounts whilst leading a large team of National Account Managers, Area Account Managers and pricing specialists. You'll drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, manage complex contract negotiations, and ensure operational excellence across Australia's commercial and industrial waste market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team to drive high performance and growth
  • Drive and grow the portfolio of major national accounts
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and renewals for multi-site operations
  • Develop strategic account plans focusing on additional revenue streams
  • Ensure operational service delivery excellence
  • Manage complex customer relationships nationally and support their sustainability objectives

What You'll Bring:
You'll be a senior leader with extensive, proven experience in account management and driving business development in B2B environments. Your proven track record in managing major national accounts, coupled with operational understanding and strong leadership capabilities, will enable you to deliver immediate impact in this interim assignment.

You will bring with you:

  • Experience leading large account management or sales teams, driving operational performance
  • Proven track record growing major national accounts ($1M+ revenue)
  • Strong operational understanding and experience in industrial/consumer services, waste management, facilities management or related B2B sectors
  • Demonstrated success in complex commercial negotiations and multi-year contracts
  • Experience working with contractor networks or third-party service providers
  • Knowledge of ESG principles and sustainability requirements
  • Ability to quickly integrate at executive level and drive immediate results

This is a contract position, to start immediately until the end of January. To be eligible, you must be available immediately or on short notice and have full Australian work rights, without restrictions for the duration of the contract.
