The Role

Working in the Response, Policy and Evidence portfolio, the newly established role of Sector Workforce Development Advisor will be responsible for developing innovative strategies and resources to support workforce analysis and planning for the specialist family violence sector.

You will play a critical role in workforce analysis, planning and strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to address the evolving needs of the specialist family violence sector from a workforce perspective.

Strong workforce analysis and planning skills are critical to your success. They'll underpin your ability to deliver a range of full cycle projects that address workforce entry points, retention and organisation resources and development You can develop innovative solutions to workforce challenges.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. public policy, community development, social work, law) or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of and experience in industry, sector and/or workforce analysis, planning and development
  • Experience in full project cycle development of workforce approaches, tools and resources for use in organisations
  • Excellent relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with individuals and groups
  • Sound project management skills including the ability to source, analyse and present complex information

This role is being offered on an 18-month fixed term contract. In addition to a salary of $110,957 plus superannuation ($56.15 per hour). Safe and Equal offer its employees:
