Contract Duration: 6-months

  • Experience as a petrotechnical data or technology manager (Well, Seismic, Spatial, Production, HPC and System Admin domains)

  • Experience in data profiling and data quality principles and techniques is an advantage.

About the Role:

Seeking an experienced specialist to manage and optimize subsurface data (geoscience, reservoir, production, GIS, permits) for upstream projects. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality, compliance, and governance, leading data initiatives, and supporting cross-functional teams. Strong focus on standards, best practices, and maintaining a robust upstream data environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages subsurface data (geoscience, reservoir, production, GIS, permits) to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with business goals.

  • Leads initiatives to improve data workflows and support upstream projects.

  • Oversees data handling across systems, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.

  • Acts as liaison between technical teams and data management.

  • Ensures robust QA/QC processes for a reliable upstream data environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in petrotechnical data/technology management (Well, Seismic, Spatial, HPC, etc.)

  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to convey complex data concepts to varied audiences

  • Must possess a strong knowledge of workflows and the data impact to workflows in Upstream.

  • Experience in data profiling and data quality principles and techniques is an advantage.
