- Demonstrated expertise applying deep learning techniques for image classification and diagnostic algorithm development using open-source tools like Theano or Caffe.
- Proven track record working with independent software vendors specialising in machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of statistics, probability theory, data modelling principles as well as software development techniques essential for analytics implementation.
- Experience providing technical consulting or architectural guidance on large-scale projects involving AI/ML deployments.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies while maintaining high standards of quality in solution delivery.
- Proficiency in at least one analytics scripting language such as R or Python for statistical analysis or model building.
- Hold a PhD focused on machine learning or have extensive experience in computer vision applications within healthcare contexts.
