This position requires a detail-oriented Payroll Officer/HR who excels in both the Accounting & Finance and Human Resources fields. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of payroll and providing HR support to a team in a busy Industrial / Manufacturing environment in Wetherill Park.

Description

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Handling payroll queries from staff and management.
  • Managing employee records and keeping them up to date.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Providing HR support to managers and staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of HR and payroll reports.
  • Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as required.

Profile

A successful Payroll Officer/HR should have:

  • Excellent knowledge of payroll systems and processes particularly Employment Hero
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
