This role is for someone who will interface with multiple parts of the business, but have a grounding in the estimating team. You will be the glue between various departments (Estimating, Safety, HR, Projects) to essentially build the final submission that will go to a prospective client. An alternative position title for this role is "Bid Coordinator". We are looking for someone with flare and excitement for putting the pieces together for a final product.

Along with this comes the natural "all hands on deck" approach for when project has a sharp deadline that needs to be met that requires the ability to think quickly and critically.

Requirements for this position

  • Previous administration experiencein a role where you are tested for your ability to dynamically shift between teams and modes of thinking
  • Advance document building skills used for:
  • Preparing expressions of interest for clients
  • Formatting project specific documents in a way that is presentable and easy to follow
  • Prepare supporting documentation such as cultural initiatives and non-price related aspects of the company
  • Maintain company resumes of key people in a tender
  • Responsible document control so that things are easy to find and well documented
  • Ideally you will have come from a similar type of company (civil, construction, builder, major contractor etc...)
  • Ability to be an independent thinker, training will be provided, and support will always be present, but a strong willed thinker will succeed
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company
  • Strong aptitude for dealing with changing deadlines and challenging client conditions
  • Ability to grasp new software well and require minimal guidance around the computer and office software

This is an immediate start role.I like to advertise expected salary here, but we are open to people from a wide range of experience. The hired candidate could range anywhere from 70k to 100k based on experience, attitude and other factors. We are open to anyone with this experience be it 1 year or 10 years.
