Fabrication Workshop Team Leader – North Brisbane

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication Workshop Team Leader to join this North Brisbane team. You will lead a team of 10–15 staff on the day shift, coordinate workflow across second and third shifts, and ensure the workshop runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of up to 15 staff, including apprentices
  • Coordinate workflow across all shifts to meet deadlines and quoted hours
  • Ensure all fabrication work meets strict quality and safety standards
  • Manage communication and documentation using Microsoft Suite
  • Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Sheetmetal Worker or Boilermaker
  • Minimum 5 years' stainless steel fabrication experience
  • Expertise in pressing/forming and rolling
  • Experience in mechanical fitting and assembly
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
  • Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing highly regarded
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP experience a plus
