Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stainless Steel Fabricator with experience in Glass Balustrade to join our team for an immediate start. The role involves the installation of frameless and semi-frameless glass balustrades, handrails, and other custom metalwork on-site, along with workshop fabrication tasks.

We are a reputable company specializing in high-quality architectural balustrade systems, including glass, stainless steel, and custom metalwork. With a focus on precision, safety, and aesthetics, we work on a variety of residential and commercial projects primarily across Brisbane, with occasional work on the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site installation of glass balustrades, handrails, and fencing systems
  • Measure, cut, and fabricate stainless steel components to precise specifications
  • Read and interpret drawings and site plans
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete installations to a high standard
  • Maintain safety and quality standards at all times
  • Communicate with our team, builders and other trades as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in installing glass balustrades (frameless, semi-frameless, or similar)
  • Competent in stainless steel fabrication (TIG welding, polishing, cutting, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Manual driver's license (preferred not essential)
  • High attention to detail and workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position

Desirable:

  • Experience with aluminum or other architectural metalwork
  • Experience in the Balustrade and Fencing Industry and understanding of various safety codes relating to this industry is an advantage.
